    although i didnt hear it officially..i heard that wwe released him from his contract.a bit of a waste of a million dollars dont you think?

    It wasnt a million up front. AFAIK it was 1 million over the course of his contract (3 or 4 years?)

    Apparently one of the reasons he was let go is because management wanted to do a "fight" between himself and Angle, kind of a fixed MMA thing.

    Angle refused to do it saying it was a stupid idea, and so did Puder. He pretty much said I'll wrestle and pretend, but if i'm fighting then it's real. Fair enough to him.

    Needless to say Angle was fine as he's a huge draw while Puder got the chop.

    Or so the story goes.

    nah im pretty sure his contract was for 1 year...either way vince would have had to have paid him the million if it was a 1 year contract or not
