Dont want to spend very much money but looking for a way to play MP3s in the car... There are ones on ebay for 10 to 20 euro... with a cassette adapter would these do the trick?
    Any advise appreciated.

As long as you have a casette player in your car I can't see any trouble with it. Those casette adapters work quite well. Not as good as FM transmitters but then those are illegal ;)

You might be waiting a while if you're ordering from Asia though
