Looks nice alright :-) how fast do those things go ?
had my Savage going like a rocket the other day, first time i got her in to second gear since running in the engine and tuning it. I was surprised how fast it went. Next time i will shoot some video.

Hmm, wonder how long before trx 3.3 engines are available on ebay? Wouldn't mind sticking one into my t-maxx.

Remember - displacement is only part of the story.

Compression (measured as swept volume as percentage of compressed volume), and effective compression (a function of physical compression, fuel-air vapour aerosol density, and internal temperature) are far more important.

Or to put it another way, I would always prefer a good high compression .20/3.5cc than have a worn out .25/4.0cc.

Unfortunately the good ones cost more.......

Interesting point about engines ...the popular ones with modellers are the low compression (weaker/cheaper) ones....on account of they are easy to tune, But the better high compression engines are more precise, and harder to tune, even though they deliver more power if set up correctly.
So the average noddy can get more power out of a "crud" engine than he can get from a "hard" engine which has maybe with 50% more power. :p

But more nitro increases effective compression for everybody (just so long as your engine don't blow up ! )
