memory stick problem

I bought a memory stick today, a 512 one, and there was some security shít on it. I used it and it made most of the space private, that was ok, I tried to get rid of that so I formatted the thing and I got rid of the password thing, so now instead of 512 Megs, I have 56, has this act of utter stupidity happened to anyone…

I don't know how to be able to get the rest of the space back!
