I'm heading off to Prague on Friday for the weekend :D

Just wondering if anybody has been there before, and if so, is there any casino's they would recommend.

Also, I'm going away with away with a group of lads so any other info about what to do in Prague (pubs, clubs, restaurants etc) would be helpful. We've already arranged to go to a firing range to shoot AK-47's :D

I was over last summer, only proper card room i could find was this: http://www.goldenpraguepoker.cz/ but i never made it in for a game as i was limited by time and non-poker playing friends.

Bit of advice, none of the "casinos" around wenceslas square have card rooms, they're just strip clubs with a roulet table.

As for pubs and clubs, it really depends on what sort of a holiday you're looking for

Edit: The shooting thing is great, the one we went to was slightly surreal as they taught us how to use the guns while serving us drinks in the shooting club bar. Crazy city

i was in prague two years ago so i cant remember exacty where stuff is but the is a deadly 5 story club down steam from charles bridge which is definity worth a look. also get a load of absenith into you. its nice if you dip a spoon of sugar into it and then light the sugar on fire. wait for the flame to go out and then mix the melted sugar with the absenith.:)

I'm off there for Paddy's weekend. I posted on the Things to Do in Denver.... forum and got some good replies. Have a look. No idea about casinos tho. Would love to get some cards in when I'm over there.

Was There last summer as well, There is a pub on the island in the middle of the river that runs through prague where beer is less then a euro, also the paddle boats are pretty cool after a few beers.

Five story club is decent too however be wary of the bouncers they are a bit rough, ie dont mind getting involved.
Also be wary of hookers in the club, if you buy them a drink and then dont follow up by asking them for sex they chase you around the streets with mace spray, (Unfortunately I know this from experience) :o

    rofl

I found the clubs in Prague were ****! That club in particular had nothing but bored Germans and watered down drink. Only found one club with Czech people in it and there was drugs all over the place.

We had a great time around the pubs there though. Sunday night is meant to be the best night to go out.

Cheers lads, I'm sure we'll sort something out! I'm surprised there were so many replies and no-one mentioned hookers...:)

I was in a casino just down the street from the bottom end of Wenceslas Square. It was directly next door to TGI Fridays, and they had 3 or 4 tables. They were advertising 50/100 limit but were actually playing 100/200 (local currency before you start worrying) It seemed to be mostly tourists playing, I waited for about half an hour for a seat then got thirsty and fecked off.
