I love the Indiana Jones movies so I hope to god they do this right. I still feel Ford might be a bit too old for the role but for me he is the only one who can play Indy.

Hopefully they'll do it right , it would be a shame if it was'nt up to the standards of the original trilogy

Well, I've lost a lot of faith in Spielberg after I saw "War Of The Worlds". I *really* cant see another Indiana being a good film. You cannot and I stress CANNOT use anybody else. Indiana Jones isint like James Bond (which is ****e without the actual franchise name). Harrison Ford made those movies and to try and put in a different actor would destroy them.

The only way they could do it is to maybe ... skip a little while into the future to where Indiana is slightly older and therefor keep Ford. Trying to get in another actor would just ruin it tbh. [imo]

I don't think there's been any question of using any actors other than Harrison Ford to play Indiana Jones. They've said from the beginning that they do want to address the age difference now - there was talk about setting the movie in the 1950s (someone suggested Roswell, but God I hope not).

i think its gonna be lame, a 4th of any movie really scrapes the barrel.
no matter whos in it. story line .other than possibly star wars just goes through the mill,so to speak.
as to munich, i got a promotional dvd screener of it . wow what a movie. best film this year.
if anyone had of told me he was makin that movie. i would of taught FLOP FOR SURE.
    boy was i wrong,
good site for upcoming movies here lads.

I still have hopes for this movie.

My main want is that they keep the pattern of switching genres for this Indy4. Whilst all the Indys are actions based, RotLA is a adventure movie but Temple of Doom is almost horror where as LastCrusade is played mainly for laughs. Hopefully 4 will be something different again.

I love the Indiana Jones movies but I think they've waited too long to make another one. I agree with the other posters that no-one but Harrison Ford should play Indy but have you seen him lately? He looks terrible and he really can't act anymore. He was never a particularly good actor but he's fcking bruuuutal now

I watched the Young Idiana Jones Cronicles" when I was younger and it was narated by Indi as an old man that had just settled down after a lifetime of adventure, so there is absolutly no reason why this can't be pulled off.

Meh, never really liked the series.
    Meh, never really liked Ford.

Christian Bale, the way with the future. :D

Ah yeah, I remember that! He had an eyepatch too, so what are the chances that indy will get an eye torn out during this film?

this is fairly huge news as far as im concerned,
The original 3 are among my favourite films of all time.

Hmmmm, not sure how they're going to pull this off, if they use Ford as an older Indy it probably means losing the Nazi villains - who were one of the best things about the first and third films. I suppose they could set it in the 50's and use the Soviets, though. But dammit its just not the same without Nazis! Everyone loves Nazis - right?

Well at least it won't be a prequel. Let's just hope the Nazi's aren't all CGI.
