usb problems

    hi, i just bought a zen mp3 player as my daughter tried to bounce old one :rolleyes: , all the software downloaded ok but although i have connected my usb cable to the usb port it still saying its not connected.. really missing my music in college, does anyone have any suggestions what to do????? maybe i will have to get in pc repair man.. i've tried all the different ports and two different cables

    i think its 98?? :confused::confused: not too sure, i just followed the instructions on mp3 player.. the last one i had worked ok..

    Ok, if you right click My Computer and select properties and hit Device manager you see something like this:

    If your mp3 player is being picked up you should see it listed with an ! mark or a ? mark. Your computer is probably picking it up ok but it's not installed correctly. (Drivers)
