    what tv aerials are needed for portlaoise area. what direction to point, where to buy online, any photos

    Dont know that part of the world well but Id say Mount Leinster (Kilkenny direction) RTE 1 and 2 are on VHF (Vertical) TV3 and TG4 are UHF (Group A Horizontal) or perhaps Maghera dont know if UK channels are recievable on an aerial but if they are Its either from Wales of via a deflector

    A couple of places outside portlaoise have VERY scary masts pointing north. I think those are seriously more expensive and dangerous than a Sky box with FTV card.

    As you go west from Naas the masts get bigger and bigger and sparcer and then vanish!
