Hi I am currently trying to stop my looping file in c# using winforms and direct x9.
When i click on the play button it creates an "Audio" object which loops until the value of a boolean variable changes. This boolean variable will change when the stop button is pressed. The problem is I cannot click on the STOP button while code is still ecectutuing withing the PLAY code block.

Is there any way i can solve this without resorting to threads?
