    Looking for some advice here..

    I have the dav550 home cinema system...and i'm looking to hook the speakers up from this through my planned media centre

    Now the question is ...what cables do i need to buy to output the sound from the media centre through the dav550...
    The mobo in the media centre has 7.1 onboard sound

    this is on the motherboard you linked to

    I dont know what sort on digital in you have on the sony - if its coxial you are sorted if its optical you will need a converter not that much

    I had an 550 myself I think it was optical ?
