    Cut and paste some text to the clipboard and then open IE.

    Not really an exploit but a feature it seems. To disable.
    - Tools->Internet Options->Security->Custom Level
    - scroll down to "Scripting"
    - Disable "All paste operation via script"

    Or just use firefox, couldn't reproduce the issue at all (even with scripts enabled).
