Well? He is the mastermind behind this wonderful place we call boards , why doesnt he post more? Seen his pic and he looks like a sound chap, would like to hear his veiws on a few of the crazy threads here on boards.
Perhaps running this hell hole is a 24hr job, he might be stuck in a hamster wheel all day trying to juice up the servers :v: .

AFAIK, he taught in my course up until last year and he now does research in DERI. Well that's what I think he said...was drunk you see..

Tar.Aldarion: Which course did you do? Electronic or Electronic and Computer Engineering? I'm an Elec & Comp Grad myself. JohnB (Cloud) was still around in my final year. Sound chap alright. He's working in DERI now. I know a few other guys (graduated same year as me) that are doing their phds there too. Are you working there?

Heh no, I'm not working there, just a bum student. I do electronic & computer like yourself.
Did you just graduate last year? if so I would know some of your class.

No I graduated two years ago... 03/04 year. I'm guessing since you know some of the guys that graduated last year you were in the same year as me... interesting. I only know of one other Elec & Comp grad from my class on boards.

EDIT: Just checked your profile. You're 19. No way you were in my year. What year ya in?

Oh no, you misunderstand, I'm a student bum - in second year. I still have a few years left to reach phd bum status.

Thanks but it's not what I want to hear, I can well imagine what 3rd&4th are going to be like, might as well bring a sleeping bag into the lab.
