Ive got a 5 year old tv.
Its not a bad tv and has stereo sound and scart sockets and its about 20inch.
However I don't know if it supports 60hz or not.
Id like to play my ps2 games in 60hz mode but when I try it they appear stable but in black and white.
I heard somewhere that the cable that comes with the ps2 doesn't allow 60hz mode and dont know if thats true or not.
I was wondering if I got a component cable would it allow me to play games in 60hz mode on my tv.
Would it offer any visual improvement on a tv like that?

An RGB SCART cable will display your games in colour on the TV with improved picture quality. I assume you're currently using the craptastic yellow, red and white cable or worse, an RF cable.

av cable? any cable for a games console, that connects it to tv is an "av" cable, rgb scart = best. composite y/r/w = crap. RF (aerial tuning in, lol) = crapatactular.

Is this a new thing: Where someone answers a question and someone else comes along and kind of re-formats the answer with a new wording and tried to pass it off as his or her own work?
