What's the story with these guys when they are on air together. Hookie always sounds like he is going out of his way to give a hard time! Anyone else noticed this?

ah im sure its all in good fun. Hookie likes a bit of edge with his contributors. ever see the tension between hookie and that guy that presents the live rugby matches?!

Yeh I have noticed that also about Hook but he seems that way with everyone, it is just his manner, kind of confrontational but I don't think that he means it. I remember the first time that I heard him talk to people, I was thinking "...how rude..."

It's kinda funny the way he gets at him. It just seemed so obvious that I momentarily thought that they might hate each other!

I like hook but he can seem a little out of his depth sometimes. There's a definite touch Laurel & Hardy about him!

Have you heard the ads on newstalk for the Hookie ring tone? Ha! Classic!

Ah it's pure banter. In fairness, Ger can dish it back at the Hookymonster
