Hey did anyone here head to the fencing intervarsities in Queens this weekend? I was there competing with the DCU club, despite having only turned up at training for the first time two weeks ago! Anyway I hadn't competed in the sport for ten years - a fact which reflected itself in my dreadful foil results - but I found the epee to be pretty good and had a lot more success with that. Overall I thought it was a very enjoyable weekend and my team-mates were great, I remember now why I used to love the sport so much :)

Oh and a well deserved win for UCD - Conor Nagle is a legend of a man!

Ah you'll be glad to know I wasn't able to beat anyone from UCD - must have been some sort of mental block :)
