Hey all, just wondering if anyone can shed some advice on planning/booking ski holidays. I went snowboarding for the first time in january. I went to Andorra, fantastic experience. Thing is, myself and one or two others were kind of tagging along in the party I went with after someone dropped out. Everything was already signed and sealed, all we had to do was pay our shares. But we all loved it so much that we're going to organise our own trip for the new year 2007. I heard that a lot of holidays start going on sale in march. Also, if anybody can suggest which countries are the best, I'd be grateful. I loved Andorra, but we're open for suggestion to go elsewhere next year.
    Thanks.

ok firstly if you want to get good reasonable apartments...look into booking now.

For the new year I would recommend Livigno, Italy. It's a great resort for beginners and intermediates. It has great night life and it's duty free! I'm going there for the 3rd year running in 2 weeks. I can't wait. The Italians are lovely people. The food is much better than anything you get in Austria imo.

We went with Panorama 2 years running but this year I'm going with my college friends and we are going crystal cuz it was cheapest.

Oh i forgot! For snowboarding Livigno is great - there are two snowboard parks!!
