so seeing as this post is about The Dudley Corporation news and not just some shows, will I get away with posting this here. Please be gentle, mods!

    so howyiz anyway

the last few months, and actually the last fortnight in particular, has seen the Corpo going crazy finishing up the new record. Guests so far inc Nigel from Waiting Room, Rob from Pinback and Howard Hello. The rest of this week will see us nabbing some more delicious guests. hoorah for nabs. Recording so far has taken place all over Ireland, North and south, France, Chicago, San Diego and Washington DC in places such as Black Box and the legendary Inner Ear studios, home of some of the classic punk rock records of all time.
So far, the album sounds cracking! Fingers crossed for a US and Europe release on Absolutely Kosher by July at the latest....

so this friday, at the Ballroom of Romances temporary home at the Boom Boom Room, Parnell Sq, The Corpo will play their first proper Dublin show in almost 18 months, and chances are it'll be an even longer break before we play again. Since the last time we played Dublin we've done two massive US tours, so hopefully we've picked up a trick or two....

Support comes from Love Story in Blood Red, amazing American Rockers including a talented Mr Kris Poulin amongst their ranks, an engineer/producer/hansum man who's previously worked on records such as Insignifigance by Jim O'Rourke

Also playing are The Lamps, a new iteration of Dublin band Capratone, and Red Sirius from Belfast.

7 europes in and yer get a free CD. delightful!
