No Card, Irish Card, Occasional FTV card or Occasional UK card?

It is usually card related. Make sure card well seated and unplug at mains, count 20 and reconnect.

I dont think there are any channels missing, just gaps in the listings, i have noticed this also and apparently all will become clear on 28th.

    Well better anyway.
Though it would be more logical to have 4 digits for TV and 3 for radio. Or a TV/Radio toggle like on ALL other digital receivers. Still, the new remotes have the Loudspeaker icon on 0 and all radio will start with zero, so it really is 3 digit.

Perhaps they have some other scheme to break the new 899 channels barrier for TV (from old 799 roughly due to nearly 80 Radio channels).

The new list of categories is a bit better thought out, though they left out the "utter junk" category :)

No they didnt, the "Utter Junk" category was so large that they split it into other categories. They have been mislabled as "Shopping" "Religion" and so forth :D

Wouldnt it be nice if you had the option to remove certain channels or categories from the EPG (or better still, if you could add the favourites to your own epg, with your own channel numbers and switch to it by pressing the blue button). All you would need then is the ability to add "other channels" to your own EPG and be able to record them on Sky+

Well the first bit works now on my box. I think you meant add other channels to favorites. By definition the "other channels" are favorites otherwise why would we add them :)
