eBay: 2nd chance offer

    An auction I did recently ended with some fella for Germany winning it. Once I sent the invoice, I checked 'my ebay', and it says that I can relist to a 2nd chance offer. Does this mean that the top bidder, who 'won' the initial auction has pulled out of the sale????

    Not neccessarily.

    If it's something thats easily copyable, it may mean they are distributing something pirated.

    If it's something more like hardware, it may mean they had more than one to sell, or refuse to sell to the highest bidder for some reason.

    Provided it's not software / dvds.... in this situation I would proceed, albeit with caution.

    It does not mean the buyer has pulled out of the deal. It means you can offer a 2nd chance offer to one of the unsuccessful bidders. This is particularly good if you have more than one item.

    I think it means that the buyer has not yet confirmed receipt of the item, and may never bother.
