IBB high gain antenna / IBB mast locations

    Hi,
I have just installed IBB ripwave (3.5GHz), and am getting download speeds of between 20k - 170k(rare) depending on time of day. Does anyone know if a high gain antenna would help? If so, are they available? The ripwave box says that it is an optional accessory, but I can't find any on the net. I have looked on Navini's partner websites and can't find a thing. There are a few on the net, but they are for 2.4GHz ripwaves.

Also, does anyone know the nearest mast to Woodie's in Sallynoggin?

Don't you have a signal light that is green for good and amber for poor?

I used an IBB box with 50% signal and it was 220k. But the same box with 100% signal 200m from base now somtimes is 50k to 100k with up to 470ms pings.

The problem is not the signal but the bandwidth and number of users.

The fact it varies so much proves a bigger aerial would be useless. I bet at 4am to 5am it isn't bad.

I have the green/amber/red light. I never have more than half signal, and half quality....
