Registering with ebay UK

I`ve tried to join ebay unsuccessfully, when entering my postcode Co. Dublin the cursed thing won`t accept it. Is there anything I can do to get round it?. Apologies if in wrong forum, didn`t know where was appropiate for it.

Hehe, thats daft, just tried making one with "Dub" and that worked, my normal account has codub as the post code though it was created before the ebay.ie days.

I just put in random letters and numbers when a website asks me for a postcode my ebay one is 8kl3.
