Ok Folks, My Lidl system went a bit out of kilter last week, so I decided to set it up again today. Now, when I connect the Sat finder "SF-95LDB" to the receiver end the sensitivity lights up and sounds fine. I turn this down and connect the other end to the LNB, but now all I get is two lights and a very low tone. No matter how high I set the sensitivity I cannot get more than two lights and a very low tone. As soon as I disconnect the LNB end I get all lights on and a high pitched tone. As I turn the sensitivity knob everything seems fine.
Have any of ye had this ? Is it the LNB or the Sat Finder ?

It shouldn't get any signal without LNB.

Check cables. make Sure Cable from Finder to LNB is OK
Check you have the Sat Finder connected correctly. It might not connect either way round. The connectors should be lablled.

Explain "went a bit out of kilter": No picture? poor picture?

Sorry , when I say out of kilter I mean that the dish moved. It has been in place for the past few months, but last week it moved.
I checked all the cables and I am 100% I connected te finder the right way round. It did work day one perfectly. Another question on the finder though, there is a switch on the back 0bd or -6db. What should that be at ? It may have changed and I don't know what it was at, but I did check it both ways an no difference

0dB when trying to find a bird, and -6dB when you have got a signal.

When you find the sat again, put a scratch across each movable part for re-alignment.

    Unplug receiver while connecting cables.

If the dish only moved east/west, try without meter and slow small movements.
