    Anybody know what is up with using IRSSI on PUTTY?
    Doesn't seem to work anymore, I keep getting glined?
    bah.

    frink is supposed to have a trust, but with riviera going live, things may have changed.
    ...or the 'flood' messages would indicate that too many clients are making connection attempts from the server (compsoc) at the one time.

    Do ye fire up irssi each time ye logon or are ye running screens or bouncers?

    I'll have a natter with the guys.

    Ah thanks.

    Used to use screens but now I just fire it up every time.
    Flood is one error I get and other times it just doesn't connect.
    May be because it's just too busy.
    It only started getting pissed off at me after i started using cgi:irc in IT as putty doesn't work there but that should have nothing to do with it.
    It works sometimes and not others so I woul say it's just too busy but that doesn't really explain why I randomly disconnect.
