Problem with display in XP

Hi i was running a game and it screwed up my display settings, now when i go into XP the display is "sideways" ? Ive tried messing around with the display settings but nothing has worked ? any help much appreciated

right click on my desktop/ properties/ settings /advanced / display adapter or whichever video card you have. There should be a rotate button there to fix your problem. The problem is with your video card settings.
