Help with Maths Modelling?

    can anyone help with this, i have to write up my maths modelling task and im not sure how to go about it.

    are you trying to model a circuit? maybe some mass on a spring??

    I have fond memories of Maths Modelling. One thing we had to do was design a set of equations for a knot.

    ...'not' very easy.

    The problem with the knots was to work out the shortening of a rope if it was knotted once. The final answer (for a rope of any diameter) worked out to be [(13/4)πd-d]

    That's Thirteen divided-by Four, by Pie times the Diameter, minus the Diameter.

    That's interesting. I never thought to look up Knot theory on the world-wide-web. I can see how it can be useful now however.
