    Hi,

If for example I go travelling for a year say in September will I be entitled to all my tax back that I paid from Janurary to September?

You will continue to accrue tax credits every week after you leave in September (assuming you don't declare that you are abroad). You will be able to use these to claim tax back at the end of the year but that's the most that you will get back.

Typically these claims take a while to process in the new year too as there is always a lot to go through.

Ok, I also paid too much tax last year so I sent in my p60's a few weeks back now so prob due to the large amount of claims they are processing is causing the delai in me recieving the money:mad:
