    What would be the easiest way to open a web browser with a specific url in a C++ application?

    If you're in windows:
    ShellExecute(NULL, "open", "http://www.boards.ie", NULL, NULL, SW_SHOWNORMAL);
    
    and you'll need to include windows.h too.
