http://www.starcarhire.co.uk/ Contact this lot, I know Tv and Film companies use them all the time and your car dosnt need to be a replica either.

I reckon that ad agencies prefare to use convertables. I don't have much experience but I asked an pr firm once about my car and I got a muted response. But if you hear of anything, I'd be curious.

Anyone remember there was an ad for tile style and it had this Starsky and Hutch/Professionals theme to it and there was a classic in it? never got a good look at the car though

I found this link, http://www.filmnet.ie/locations/index.htm it's an Irish film website that has a database of classic cars for use in Films/TV.

Does anyone here know any of the owners of the cars used in the reinaction of the Stardust on RTE last week? Quite a few Cortinas, Escorts, Renault, etc. Wonder were they all genuine Dublin reg's?

(Sorry for the upsetting reference) :(

Last year I met the owner of the Fiat 131 Estate that was used in Stardust. Its an original Irish car bought new by the wife of Erskine Childers. Its a 1.6 automatic.
