To be honest, on that card the most talent is sitting in the The Prodigy Vs Rush match. I can't wait to see that. Interesting in seeing both Swick and Florian again also. And i reckon the Crow will be a good test for Franklin.

Both main event fights should be incredible. I just hope we get a solid fight out of Franklin/Louiseau that doesn't end really quick because of a cut (i.e. I hope Louiseau uses more skill than elbow).

When will Royce Gracie be fighting Matt Hughes? Should be a classic. Will that be at UFC 59?

I think all the fights (including franklin-loiseau) are taking a back seat to BJ Penn vs. George St.Pierre.
I really can't decide on this one at all.
    Its gonna be great.

Is it just me or are the UFC's closer together than last year?

Penn vs. St. Pierre is by far the most intriguing. It's really a tough call on who is going to win. Does Georges have what it takes? it's a tough call really, but since he's repping Canada I'm gonna say he'll win.

As far as i can tell, they seem to be aiming for about 8 UFC's this year, and some more UFN's also.

Then again, that could be wrong.

DAMN!!!!! 8 UFC shows in 1 year!!!!what number has been the most up to now?

I'm not sure, but they are really pouring it on this year, trying to capitilise on the sucess of 2005 i suppose.

Suppossed to be 3 or 4 before TUF3 and then more after, although rumour has it that the final of TUF3 will be pegged as a proper UFC due to the demand for tickets last year far outweighing the number of seats they had! Apparrently they will have several undercard matches consisting of people from the show, with more name matches later in the night.

It would really seem that UFC is on the rise in the states alright!!

    GSP vs. BJ, predictions anyone?

I say BJ by sub rd.2

I was gonna go for BJ, but i like the supposed underdogs so I will hang my hate with "Rush", to be honest, i think he has more ways to win than BJ but hey, what do i know.

Two very big factors , one BJ feels like he is still the rightful champ so he is eager for that match with Hughes. Two, BJ almosts seems to have written of "Rush" as just a stepping stone "He's a good fighter, but he's not mentally strong. How do i win? Easy, i kick his ass."

That could be a mistake on the part of Penn, which is strange as he scored his win over Hughes primarily because Hughes had written him off.

However, Penn has said he wants to go back, get the 170 title, then step up to 185 and hold two at once. Ambition is a major driving force after all.

GSP VS. BJ I am going to go with GSP, only because BJ last few fights he has looked disintrested in, so he might be coming in looking for a check, and GSP will come in looking to show the world that he is the man.
