    well, i want surround sound.

i have a stereo with those crap wires going from the speakers into the back of the hifi. (no jack or plug)

i plug in the wires myself.

anyway i can connect them to my tv?

my tv is top hdtv but no places to put in the wires.

if its not possible, whats the bestest CHEAPESP surround sound available?

    cheers!

If there is an input for audio on ur stereo, little red and white circles they might say over them input or something, and the chances are if u hav a new hdtv there should be corrisponding output on your tv! connect them with rca leads, thinks that what there called, that still wont be surround sound tho, ud need to get a surround sound reciever, which is another story altogether!

yeah, managed that. the sound is sh1t.

    ill have to buy speakers.

wireless surround sound. is that standard or expensive?

Wireless is expensive I presume?! I think it does exist though, but you have to get power to the speakers somehow? so that means batteries?!?! Which would be alot of batteries if your speakers were anywhere near good or they'd have to be plugged in, i dunno! How much are you willing to spend on a system?!

If you want a decent set of surround sound speakers go to argos. There are ones there that the majority of people from the xbox forums use for their 360's. Appearently they are good for their money. If you take a look in the argos catologue they are call Acoustic Solutions speakers. I think they are 135 euro. The speakers also have an optical in connection. This is required for true surround sound. If you buy this system you will need to buy the fibre optic cable that connects you speakers to your 360. Also for surround sound on a 360 you must a video connection with an optical out connection. hope this helps a little.
