Flying with the Pokerevents guys, don't have access to the flight details right now but fly out the 1st and return the 6th. Nicky is going too I believe. Would be good to have another drinking buddy!

    I may be persuaded. :)

To answer FBD's questions, I plan to drive but I don't know where or if i'll be overnighting in Vienna (and what days I may be there). Let me know what others are doing re accomodation, please. I also plan on playing the sat on the 22nd if anyone is over real early. Also probably the 500€ freezeout on the 26th.

"I recommended you the Starlight Suiten Hotel. We have a special casino rate there, which is for a single 109 EUR and double 131 EUR.

Therfore I have cancelled your resrevation at Airo Tower Hotel and have booked you 4 rooms in Starlight Suiten Hotel am Heumarkt and 6 rooms in Starlight Suiten Hotel Renngasse. Both hotels are the same good standard and are located near the City Center of Vienna and 15 min. by car to the Casino. We offer a free shuttle service between Casino&Hotel.

See details of the hotel http://www.starlighthotels.com/index_f.html"

On a semi related note, where is the best place to find out about these medium price festivals in European cities? I was discussing at work with a few lads the possibilites of travelling, and if there was somewhere that listed all these live events that would be great.

If it is easy to find on google, then I am a bad googler....

The last Poker Europa has a 2006 schedule printed on the 2nd last page. Website is pokereuropa.net, maybe it's on there.

After a disastrous weekend i've decided i'm not playing the supersat on Wednesday or the 500 freezeout on sunday anymore. I might head up for a day or two of the main event though.

    Cheers for that guys.

I usually only scan through poker magazines and never bring them home. I will certainly check out pokerineurope.
