I know this is probably a common question among notebook users ,but i just started using notebooks last october.

Do Pcmcia cards generally get hot under use, and should there use be kept to a necessisty??
I was hoping to use the slot to read CF cards but even that heats up aswell as a mimo card i stick in.

Theres also a tv tuner card thats available that i want to buy but i won't bother if heat builds up.
