Email backup?

I have an iol email account that is filled up and I want to backup my old emails. I usually go to the website itself to check my mail so I don't use outlook. I just tried seeting up outlook but only the unread emails that's being tranferred, how can I get outlook to transfer the all the read emails as well? Thanks.
