Yesterdays daily trivia quiz was won by "Karolina Baranowska, Dublin"

I have an e-mail from Karolina Baranowska <postmaster@pigsback.com>

Is it not against the rules for someone to win a prize where they work??

or are pigsback pulling a stroke...It is after a very unusual name unlikley theres two Karolina Baranowska 's in dublin.....

I have never won the trivia quiz BUT i have one the crossword about 4 or 5 times i believe and know others who have won as many times.

While I'm on the subject, has anyone used the shopping coupons and actually recieved points for them??? I know I have used them but have never gotten any points... I wonder.......

I Also got a mail from her last week, for the people that asked they probably comeback to say that the name is wrong, it should be Paul X.

Regarding the points, same here used them a few times I don't think I ever got them, again if asked they will say is not up to them but the shop to return the vouchers back to the marketing company and the marketing company to send the details to pigsback, very long process could take a few months

Normally places have a clause saying employees & their families can't enter competitions.. I know when my dad used to work in RTE we were never supposed to enter competitions, so if I did I'd use my name in irish.

I enter the competitions all the time myself & never win, but my brother joined up last year because I told him about it & won 3 tickets to U2 & tickets to someone else (can't remember who).. Really is just luck, something I don't possess!

I rarely use the coupons but I have gotten points for them in the past. They can take between 3 - 6 months to show up.

ive won loads off the jackpots ..but thats about it ..does look dodgy but its a great site regardless so im not gonna jump to conclusions

That is bad, the employee's shouldn't be allowed to enter.
The only thing I've ever won from pigsback is a Six cd (wooohooo!!):D

Oh yeah - for all those complaining. If you are deligent Pigsback members then go to the pigsback site and ask Curly what is going on. There is a forum on the site. There is no point in complaining here. I am sure that there is a valid reason for this.

In addition, those on this thread making out that Pigsback.com is not the have obviously not been there for long.

The clothes I have on today are from Aware .. but who paid for them??? Curly the Pig did!! The CD I listened to on the way to work this morning was bought on CDWow .. by Curly the Pig. I went to the cinema numerous occasions and Curly paid for that too!! Curly is a decent Pig. No more slagging him off. All praise to Curly!! So what if one of the competitions was won by one of Curly's dwarves! Oink to that I say! Oink!

Hi Ashley,

The Pigsback staff will test quizzes and competitions periodically but it is not the norm that one of us should win!
We are implementing new systems to improve the competition and quiz functionality however we will tweak them, so that employees are excluded.

Guys, thought I'd let you's all know that I won 10,000 Piggypoints for the Ford Steel Car Competition. I got news of this long after thatsection was no longer highlighted so i was quite surprised.

But I think its only fair to let you all know I won this and got my points within a week after being notified.
