Cancelling Sky or Downgrading

    Hi,

    I need to move out of my house while work is being done so wont be using my Sky System. I was going to either move to the cheapest package or cancel for the 3/4 months and then re subscribe. Anyone know if I can just give my notice and cancel and then just re engage in a few months. (I'm well out of contract).

    Whats the best number to call too?

    Yes. You give 1 month notice. If your card is in the box and running for the day before you re-order, reconnection can be less than 5 minutes, otherwise it might take an hour or two. You may have minimum 3 month or not contract on rejoing, or at least one month notice to leave again.

    Upgrades/reconnections are always more or less instant. Downgrades or cancles are 1 month notice.

    Thanks, they temporarily suspended it from tonight so I wont need to pay anything until june 5th which is my billing date. Then I pay only €5 for that month or call to get upgraded which will be instant as the account isnt cancelled so 4 months costs about €5 so thats better than the hassle of cancelling and re activating.
