it's the same, except you get money for every person you knock out of the tournament.

its the usual, but instead of say a 30 euro entry, u would make it 35.
The 30 goes towards the prize pool as usual, and the extra 5 is for the scalp.
Each player gets a chip or some type of marker, to represent their scalp.
When they are all in, they place this in the pot along with their game chips.
When they lose the pot, and are eliminated (ie they have no rebuys left if it is a rebuy) their scalp goes to the person who knocked them out, along with the chips.
At the end of the game, players can cash in each scalp they have for 5 euro each.
(obviously u can use any figures, the 30 and 5 are just for example purposes)

Ok, It make it more interesting, but I have two questions...

Say Im on the BB and it puts me all in, do i loose my scalp aswell?

At a showdown with three players, if there is a split pot between two people,
what happens to the scalp thats left from one of the three being knocked out?

Once your all in with no re-buy left if it is a re-buy tounry your scalp chip goes into the pot with your chips.

in the case of a split pot between two i'm not 100% sure I've never seen that happen so I'd only be guessing.

On your BB and all-in then yes, scalp always goes with the all in. In the split pot case it is a split scalp. Usually this will amount to a player giving half the scalp money to the other and receiving the scalp token and then cash it in at the end. This is the easiest way to do it.

So if it Not a rebuy tourney... you keep your scalp ?
(because you were automatically all in from the blinds) ?

I dont mean to sound fussy or confusing but I want to have the rules clear before I introduce it to others.

No, what I mean is if your all-in and it IS a re-buy and you're going to re-buy you keep your scalp, the scalp only goes into the pot when you can be eliminated from the tourny.

Exactly. Scalp goes with final all-in, this will happen on any all-in on a freezeout, an all-in when you have no rebuys left, or when you are not going to rebuy.

If you are going to rebuy then keep the scalp.

It doesn't have to be cash either though. It could be chips. You knock a guy out you get his chips and say an extra 1000 fo the scalp.

An unusual idea I would not like to see introduced. This would materially affect tournament play, which scapls/bounties etc should not imo.

I don't like it either but it's another way of playing scalps. You can also play scalps for pints. You knock a guy out he buys you a pint of whatever your drinking.

The good thing about this is after a while all the better/experienced players get tanked and their skill is reduced thus putting everybody on a level playing field!

Or you could play for points. If you are running a weekly or a monthly scalps game, every time you get a scalp you get a point. Say each scalp is a 10 added onto the registration. After each game the person with the most scalps gets half the scalp money (5 for each scalp). The remainder goes into a scalps prize fund. Each week a leader board is kept and at the end of a 'season' the player with the most points get the remainder of the scalps.

If for example, you knock someone out and recieve their scalp chip, then you go all in, do both (his and yours) go into the pot?

Only your own can be at arisk. If you win one, you keep it.

    Viva la Rasa!!!

Cool, thinking of playing the next house game with similar rules to a scalps, and just getting everything clear in the noggin, cheers.

In this case the scalp of the short stack goes in the main pot and the scalp of the second short stack goes in to the side pot. It the 2 main stacks have equal stacks then 2 scalps go in the side pot (the short stacks scalp stays in the main pot).

    Phew....
