I was in a quiz the other doing night and a question was asked whis is still bugging me! Name 5 past or current Liverpool players who have won Premier League medals? Any idea's? All i can think of is paul Ince!

Sorry, maybe it wasn't the Premiership when he won it with them. Was it the season before it changed to Premiership?

yeah, the season just before. A sore point with Man Utd fans...Liverpool beat Man U to hand the title to Leeds. Barnes scored if memory serves me right. All my relatives are either Leeds or Liverpool fans.

Going with Dalglish as manager at Blackburn, were there any ex-Liverpool players as his assistant/coaches?

By "Liverpool Reserves" I think he meant Everton, though Newell did play for Liverpool as a youth.

Newell played under-age with Liverpool — not sure if he played with the reserves team.

Is it true you almost became a Liverpool player?

No, not really. I trained at Melwood as a schoolboy on a Tuesday and Thursday evening with loads of other lads the same age and played in the youth team of a Saturday but I was never offered apprentice forms or anything like that and instead stayed on at school to do my A' levels.

Im pretty sure, if it wasnt how come nobody here has come up with the other 2 from the five in the original question?
Davis speedie retired in 94 (blackburn won 94/95 season)

There are plenty of stato's in this forum, if they cant answer it then ...........
