    FAIRYHOUSE 3.05
I'm limiting this to a two horse race between Fools Rush In and Mr Aussie. Both of these finished in the top 3 over 2 mile Maiden Hurdles on Heavy ground, which is exactly what is in store for them tomorrow. I'm going to side with Mr Aussie as it has not gone up in the weights at all, and is used to carrying 11-12. Maybe the smart thing would be not to rule either of these out and do a bit of dutching.

Dutching On: Fools Rush In && Mr Aussie

    FAIRYHOUSE 3.35
On Learn To Dance's last two appearances the jockey's decided to wait until late to let it go and go it did. If it can be given a more positive ride and not have to come off the pace at the end, I think it should be there or thereabouts. This is Russel's first time riding Learn To Dance, and maybe I'm just clutching at straws so there won't be any serious betting on this one.

My Selection: Learn To Dance e/w.

    FAIRYHOUSE 4.05
Zaffran Lady and Castle Hope battled it out 2 races ago on the 7th of Jan, in which Zaffran Lady won by 2 lenghts. Castle Hope then went on to win a 3 mile over heavy ground a Cork, and because of that it's back up in the weights again. Zaffran Lady should be able to take advantage of the weights here, but I would not be at all surprised if Castle Hope puts up a very stiff challenge.

    My Selection: Zaffran Lady win.

    LEICESTER 2.10
Bay Island is the only thing that stands out in this card. A step down in distance and in the weights for Bay Island can see it come home with a decent challenge here, considering it weakend inside the final 2f over a 3mile race on good to soft ground. Racing 4f shorter trip today, it has to be considered the one to beat.

    My Selection: Bay Island win.

    LEICESTER 2.40
Launde should win this comfortably, but there's absolutely no value in it. I don't think this is a positive enough card to throw what's required to get a decent return on this horse, so I'm going to go with a small each way bet on Hardybuck from the Twiston-Davies stable. She would have impressed last time only for falling, and I think it has good each way value.

    My Selection: Hardybuck e/w.

    LEICESTER 3.10
Rubberdubber had a lovely chase debut back in Jan. Today is a big step up in distance for it, but I'm sure it is more than capable of beating this crowd, especially with AP McCoy on board. I'm also very interested in seeing how Harris Bay handles being under Timmy Murphy again.

My Selection: Rubberdubber win && Harris Bay e/w.

    MUSSLEBURGH 2.00
Looking at this card Premier Dane is the only one I would consider putting money on, although there is not much value. The card is dodgy, like the card for the 2.40 at Leicester, but I have more confidence in Premier Dane's abilities than I do in Launde's.

    My Selection: Premier Dane win.

    MUSSLEBURGH 3.30
Something went wrong with Not A Trace in it's last outing where it went off as the 5/2F and was pulled up, and indeed in it's last 4 outings it has been pulled up twice and finished second twice. Today it's being tested with visors for the first time, and I think it's time for that win. It has shown it is more than capable of beating this crowd, and the visor is a big positive for me.

My Selection: Not A Trace e/w.

    MUSSLEBURGH 4.30
Celtic Flow for me in this one. The re-booking of Aspell is a big positive for me since it's last class 5 win. Hasn't finished out of the top 4 in it's last 4 races, and is well used to longer distances than this one. Aspell likes to throw this horse up to the front, so I expect it to keep in touch for the majority of the race.

    My Selection: Celtic Flow win.

    Best of luck everyone.

2.50 Lingfield - Ballet Pacifica 5-4 bad odds but a double with Fen Game looks good.

3.35 Fairyhouse - Super Judge (EW Bet)

4.05 Fairyhouse - Sounds Good (EW Bet)

    3.10 Leicester - Rubberdubber (Win)

Not too bad a day today, I ended up sticking Celtic Flow, Not A Trace, Zafran Lady and Bay Island on a lucky 15, which is going to give me nothing back unless Celtic Flow wins. Nevertheless the dutching the in 3.05 at Fairyhouse did me well, I also had the straight forecast which paid back at odds of 7.45, and Harris Bay won for me @ 6/1. I ended up not betting on Launde (doh!) Rubberdubber or Premier Dane, although I have to eat my hat with what I said about Launde and Premier Dane.
Finished 105 euro up at the end of the day. It's good to be back :)

Backing two horses in the one race. Hopefully to guarantee yourself a profit.
