Smart DNS server issues tonight

    They seem knackered this eveing. It took over an hour for Boards to be found. Atm, ireland.com, ryanair.com are among those unable to be located.

    Are there any Smart customers here who are using a DNS other than Smart's?

    On hold ot CS fsince 7. They finally got to me, and the guy at the other end was missing! Back to no. 7 in the queue. :rolleyes:

    Very odd. Lots of sites seem to have difficulty being resolved.

    Yep!

    Ireland.com is ok but ryanair is slow on loading

    I've done some tracert on ireland.com, ryanair.com - they seem to be timing out after they leave the smart network so it seems to be external to smart because other sites like rte.ie, microsoft.com load normally

    I lost this site just after I posted to it; just back now. Loads of sites gone belly up, over 50% I try at random.

    EDIT: Ryanair and RTE back..Ireland.com still missing.
