Hey, when i boot my machine i get no video signal.I believe its the x1600xt(dual dvi) as everything else works when replace it with an agp 9800pro. It was tested on an asrock pci express/agp board...Any suggestions..

    Thanks in advance!

Does it have a seperate feed from the power supply?May be a power problem.

    "pci express/agp board..."

Is there a jumper to select? What board is it exactly?

    regards kieran

Its an asrock dual sata2 socket 939 board. There is no jumper setting to alternate between agp and pci express....The problem also exists on my other asus a8r-mvp socket 939 crossfire motherboard with the x1600xt. Also the x1600xt doesnt require extra power. I have cross checked everything apart from gpu and they all work. this have been going on since thursday now and am totally out of ideas. :(

Look at bios ,maybe its gone to a to agp video out /default in advanced settings ,or pci e is disabled,in bios ,or just agp is enabled,in bios.

Then borrow an old agp card or pci video, like geforce2 ,just to make sure your pc is working ok, use belarc adviser and sisandra prog, to test your pc ,check bios settings advanced, and see is onbord video enabled?sis prog will give you tips/advice if it finds anthing wrong in software ,or system setup.

Hey tested the gpu on 2 other machines and had the same problem as on mine. I think its safe to assume that the card is dead! I returned it there this morning. Thanks to everyone that made an imput to this!

    Cheers
