I've been playing with a friends imac and xbox1 lately, so I may be able to help but I dont have a 360.
first off: do you have the correct version of osx? it requires osx V. 10.3.9 or greater
and secondly, could you elaborate on the exact problem?

Well it is a program for the Imac on the xbox360, it just does not find my xbox, my xbox live is working fine, there is no errors when I download the program and launch it...

Okay, can you connect to the net with the imac and connect to live! with the 360 at the same time?

If you can then there's an option in connect360 for allowing it to go thru the imac's firewall.

Yes I have no problem connecting to both xbox live and the net on my mac at the same time, when I load up connect360 eventually I get the beachball spinning and nothing much else after that...

Also I can't see that option in preferences? I have my firewall off in any case...

So I have an iMac and Xbox360 and after a little while I did manage to get the two to connect. I've just been using the trial version so it is limited to 100 songs and 100 photos but what I seen so far is cool. I need to play around with it a little more but for $10 it's worth getting.

So back to the problems that I had and how I resolved them. After installation Connect360 detected my Xbox360. In order for the Xbox360 to see the iMac I first needed to remove the reference to my PC on the Xbox360. You need to go to System|Computers and remove it. Once I was removed I went to Media|Music and selected Computer as the source. As I had just removed the reference to my PC the Xbox360 prompted me to go through the connect steps again. No problem. When you're asked if you loaded the Media Connect Software on your Windows XP PC just choose the Yes option. After a couple of seach attempts my iMac was listed! I could then choose music and photos to display. All very cool indeed. :D

I had the exact same problem, but fixed it (under advice from the dev) by specifying my broadband dns servers in my airport connection.

During the process of helping me he also sent me a newer version of the app that didn't have the 100 song restriction in it, but still had the nag every so often.

Cheers it was the DNS server that was the problem! Never specified it before on my Mac.....

Works great, wonder will they ever have video streaming?

Think they're working on it. But the problem with that is that the xbox can only play windows media formats with video afaik, even if you have a media centre pc so you'd have to convert if it was different on your mac
