Noisy 360

So I've been moaning in the past about how noisy my Xbox 360 is, which is a bit of a problem cos I use it mainly as a Media Center Extender. Anyways, had the lads over at the weekend and one brought his 360 he bought from Amazon France so we could play network games.

His one is way quieter than mine. What are my chances of getting a replacement? Should I go to MS or the retailer (Brown Thomas 2 who didnt seem to have much of a clue when I was buying it)?

Didnt know you could buy 360's in Brown Thomas? Where exactly in there do they have them? Is it in the main store or the one across the road from the main store?

When I had to call I got an answer immediately and they knew what they were doing.

I gave them a call about this a couple of weeks ago, and they said they sold 360s for the Christmas period only and that they would not be getting them in again.

Any luck when you got in contact with Microsoft? I had thought mine was pretty noisy but didnt think much of it. Also, mine has frozen about ten times since I got it, which is quite a lot considering I only play it at weekends when im home from Dublin. Anyone else had this problem?
