My top perdictions for supporting Metallica in Ireland (based on 2 support acts)
    1. Trivium
    2. Bullet for My Valentine
    3. Megadeth
    4. The Deftones
    5. Green Day (cause id love to see it happen!)
    6. Velvet Revolver
    7. Machine Head (oh please god yes....)

There we have it, just for the record, and if im wrong im wrong

id love for metallica to play with green day

im not going because of my jc, but i wouldnt go anyway coz their new shows are terrible since st.anger

id imagine megadeath or machine head, but metallica said they like green day so fingers crossed for them, then i go for sure

it wont be trivium because they'll have played 3 months previosuly here... and it DEFINATLY wont be megadeth you can be sure of that... and there sno way greenday would...that could be worse than the lost prophets incident back in 2004...oucho...

i hopin some nu metal band will play with them...its not my favourite type of music but it wont be ass faggy as greenday/lost prophets... throwdown for example now that would be good...or disturbed

Where did you here this? Earlier prediction of Trivium or BFMV or someone like that are more likely. Basically someone playing Download on the Saturday will come over and play. Rammstein would be my choice just for a killer stage show:D

If it's gonna be anyone it'll be BFMV. Trivium ain't gonna support because of their gig here in 3 weeks time. But here's hoping!
    Not that Metallica need support.......

i wish they would tour for all their albums before st.anger, now i would go to that but i really dont think that their new shows are anygood, like the last one was ok but it didnt have the same attraction for me

    Could happen but doubt it.

BFMV will probably play, but i hope not.

    Megadeth?? Lol!! No chance.

I can't see any of the above mentioned bands supporting Metallica.

I think you should look to the bands playing at Donnington that weekend, it'll probably be two out of that line-up.
    I'd love Mastodon :)

If Mastodon supported I'd buy tickets. Otherwise none too pushed. Listening to Remission at the moment, coincidentally. :)

Korn and Deftones have been confirmed to play Download, anybody get the feeling it'll be one of these?

Or myspace.com/trivium has them listed to play the 2 dates of Download 10/11th.

As opposed to the countless other bands playing Download?

Anyway, word is that KoRn have been announced.

Well Korn have added Download to their tour

    http://kornunleashed.net/main.php?ku=information/tour

But they don't say what day it will be,if its sat i reckon they will support Metallica here.

They have said they are gonna hit everywhere and they can play to more people by supporting metallica

Edit:i have just found this http://www.korntv.co.uk/

Its says Korn are confirmed to support

My cousin heard it definately is Korn. NOOOOOOOO, not nu-metal crap. But hopefully BFMV might play aswell. I just hate nu-metal and think Korn should leave the metallica day alone. Will uin my day havin to put up with them

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,854 ✭✭✭Beekay

It makes my day even better, they are my two favorite bands

thats your opinion. fair enough! Different Strokes for Different Folks. Might be able to stand it more if BFMV do play though.
