Strat wiring questions

I’ve eventually decided to open up my Strat to shield the cavities and add star grounding, any while I’m at it I’m probably going to switch out the stock mini pots and odd looking switch for US Fender parts (it’s a Jap Strat). Anyway I have a push pull pot I picked up a while ago with the intention of doing something with but never really got around to it. I was just wondering if anyone has any interesting suggestions for a possible mod using the push pull pot?

If possible stick up a link, a diagram or something.

    Thanks

    Dave

Maybe wire in a mod where you can run the bridge and neck pickups together, get the Tele twang?

I'll have a look for the wiring.

That's the magnificent seven mod, the five standard plus neck and bridge, and all three? Yeah I was was thinking of that one alright.

You need a new pickup selector or several switches for that mod. Bear in mind that the bridge and neck pickups won't noise cancel together.

Yeah I was looking at those on board effects, they look interesting alright but not for this guitar. Although all the talk recently about assembling guitars from parts has got me considering something more adventurous alright. Btw I'm looking at ordering the replacement parts from axesrus.com, they do wiring kits for strats so I think I'll get one of them. Have you ever ordered from them and are they any good? I must admit free shipping to Ireland is a definite plus.

Thanks voxpop, that's what I was looking for. I'm think thats the mod I'm going to do, it looks pretty straight forward.

Got two capacitors and a battery compartment a couple of weeks ago. No fuss, no muss. Definitely recommended.
