I got broadband over a week ago and have just left my modem on all the time. Is this ok or should I turn it off when I turn off laptop? Also can someone tell me if its true that utv dont know how much gb you've downloaded if you don't turn it off cause when I check my account the mb haven't changed.

IMO, It doesn't make a difference to leave it on
as it only would only matter if it was a wireless
connection that someone could access from
outside and with your DSL connection that can
only be done through USB............And I reckon
they can still tell what you are using so don't be
getting caught out thinking they can't!!!!!!!!!!
