Getting a new Kitten

    Hi everyone -

I need some advice on getting a new kitten, we had 2 cats and one of them passed away 3 weeks ago, so now we have 1 poor cat (a 15 year old male who is mutered) who is lonely and we are thinking of going to the cats home and getting a kitten to keep him company, however we are worried what our cat will do once he sees a new arrival to the flat, we are worried he might not like the idea of sharing his space and because he is male we hope he will not become too territorial, our cat was a kitten once and was looked after by the female cat who passed away so we have no way of knowing if he will take kindly to the kitten, can anyone give us some feedback and ideas about what to do, we love deeply our cat and are hoping we can give him a nice friend for the rest of his little life, any advice is very much welcomed.

    Cheers :)
