Laptop Scree Replacement where?

One of the friends screen on his laptop is more or less gone... looks like the lcd is cracked? the model number is SONY[SIZE=-1] VAIO PCG-9L1M Where could he pick up a replacement screen? [/SIZE]

Ebay, or Sony, but I think ebay would be a load cheaper if he can fit it himself, there are a lot of online tutorials, doesnt seem too hard. I presume he tried it with an external monitor to ensure the LCD is the only problem?

In most cases the only thing that is gone is the backlight and that is a cheap replacement albeit technical. Google for resources.
