    hey guys
I have a standard definition 100hz widescreen and want to know has anyone seen the xbox 360 run games on one, do they look really good?
Im thinking of getting an xbox360 but some games from the current gen consoles look really bad on my 100hz tv compared to 50hz tv's, notabily Resident Evil 4 on the gamecube and Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox where the anti-alising/jaggies look more intense. Does the Xbox360 have better support for 100hz TVs than previous consoles?

Only 50-60hz as far as I can tell. Best get yourself an RGB scart cable to improve things immensly

100hz isn't a standard output or anything, and nothing is needed to "support" it. It just gets rid of the flicker associated with CRT televisions (which run at 50/60HZi usually). LCD's don't have this associated flicker anyway.

If you're getting a tv for the 360, just make sure it supports HD.

I use my 360 with a 100hz TV. I have noticed any real problems with it.

Altough I never had any problems with RE4 either.

Sure the graphics look a lot better on an LCD computer monitor though where jagged edges are removed completely due to the high resolutions.

I haven't been able to get the 360 to work with my HDTV though... which is really annoying. Why they couldn't release a DVi or HDMi cable is beyond me.

I also have a really good 19" monitor which supports up to 1600x1200 so I think i mite get a vga cable and use that instead, its not widescreen but at least it wiill be very sharp!
