PS - Is it true that you have to leave your dish at your old house, as I have my dish pole mounted to the rear of my existing house, and I am not sure if I'll need it for the new one.

The gear is all yours. You can reinstall yourself, pay an independent expert or get Sky to get someone maybe for 100 Euro, not sure current charge. They might do a good job or a bad one.

If your dish is not too rusty why not take it anyway as you own it.
