I've been using them for a few months and just this week noticed that my money isn't adding up. I calculated my pay, Xeuro per hour times hours worked, as I had submitted on my time sheet, but this was wrong by about 40 euro, and I checked back my last timesheet and it's also wrong by around the same amount!

I emailed them 2 days ago and have received no reply yet - normally they reply within a few hours so this is very strange.

Just wondering does anyone here use them and if so can you check your payroll information against what you should have been paid!

Yeah I used the mfor about 2 years. Like anywhere they bolloxed things up now and again. If Debbie is still there she's your woman to talk to. I find if you get on good terms with 1 of the ones in the office you tend to get things sorted quicker. I'd call them the first few times and then after that once you got a relationship built up they'll be a little quicker to respond.

Don't be afraid to give Fergal or Michael a call and give out stink to them. I found Michael to be a bit of chancer/bull**** artist, however Fergal will at least give you straight answers. And remember you are THEIR customer, you pay them to look after your finances not the other way round. Gently remind them of this fact if they're f-ing around.

You know as well they're not really accountants, they use another accountancy firm called Vaughn and Assoc. to do their books. I found this out and asked wtf I was paying them 5% for, couldn't answer so I went elsewhere.

Also If you're paying out over €200 to them a month ask them about capping the amount they take out otherwise it's cheaper to do things yourself. Another tip submit everything you posbily can think of. I got some bull**** about submitting certain expenses and they told me I'd be audited etc., stuff like drink expenses from weekend's, I said fine submit it and we'll see what happens. I never got audited eventhough I have over €3000 of what were essentially dodgy claims. You have to be firm with them. Now they might have tightened up shop since I was with them but you can always try.
